Dominic DeCecco

Dominic A. DeCecco’s practice emphasizes creditors’ rights, banking, bankruptcy, commercial law and civil litigation. Additional experience includes insurance defense litigation, workers compensation and landlord-tenant law.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, DE in 1996, and served as a clerk in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas while in law school. Dominic served three years as trial and appellate counsel in the Berks County Office of the Public Defender and was associated with another Reading law firm prior to joining Hartman|Shurr 2006.  

Dominic is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations. He is also an executive board member of the Justice William Strong American Inns of Court, an organization that promotes civility and professionalism in the practice of law.

Dominic resides in Robeson Township, Berks County with his wife, Denise, and his daughter, Anna.
